That Interpreter began as a blog in 2012, and has grown to include interpreter services, interpreter training, and personalized written and oral exam prep and language coaching. The owner and author of That Interpreter, Liz Essary, has over a decade of experience interpreting in healthcare, legal, court, and conference settings. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, where she is Associate Faculty. She also holds a Master of Conference Interpreting from York University’s Glendon School of Translation. She has lived and studied in Spain, France, Costa Rica, and Toronto, and is currently a freelance interpreter and interpreter trainer based in Indianapolis.
